I am recovering from a surgery that took place on Monday. I was away from work on Monday and Tuesday doing some major recovering and resting. The two and a half hour surgery was successful according to the doctor and my pain was controlled, thank God. Wednesday I returned to work feeling a bit dizzy and discomforted.
The last three months have been very bad for me health-wise. I’m hoping that God will bless me with good health so I can focus on other areas of need, like my finances, business, outreach and ministry to others.
On a good note, the move went well. God sent us a strong friend to help us move the heavier stuff. Most of the house is set up. Now all that remains is unpacking all the little extras tucked away in boxes and totes.
I expect this week to be tough, as I try to get back into the groove. Maybe I should call this week, how JCruz got his groove back. Be blessed.

Christmas and New Year’s is my favorite time of the year. I try to enjoy this very special, festive season and to keep focused that if it wasn’t for Jesus Christ, there would be no reason for celebration. Boys and girls that means that because Jesus Christ is alive today we have Christmas and a good reason to celebrate Jesus’ birth, death, and resurrection. Everyone is born, but Jesus’ birth was very special, because it was the fulfillment of prophecy and of the promise God made to his people.
In addition to keeping that joyous perspective in mind, I also try very hard to ignore the commercialized message that erroneously tells us that Christmas is about sales, stores, shopping, lust, and buying and getting gifts. Every time I hear that message I sense gilded deceit, anxiety, error, shallowness, pity, and disgust.

Nevertheless, I found CBN’s Christmas Resources site very inspiring with plenty of good information, ideas, stories, recipes, and more. It is exactly what I need to help me keep this joyous season in good perspective. Check it out!
During this season if you come across other good Christian Christmas and New Year’s resources, please share them with me by writing a brief comment. It’s that easy. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Moving is almost a part of my life, like my skills and education. Not something to be proud of because there is always a price to pay when moving. I feel too tired to move again, the expense and stress associated with moving sucks, as well as having to pack and unpack, and lift heavy furniture around.
So what exactly am I up to this time. I’m moving in more furniture and stuff from an apartment to my residence. So I have to reorganize all the rooms to make room for the new things. Not looking forward to it, but hey, it has got to get done.
The good news is that once it is all moved in and unpacked, I will be more relaxed. The thought of actually dipping my feet in my pool sounds good right around now. Hehe.
Well, I gotta go now, I have some kitchen items to pack up and move in. Oh, the official moving day is this Saturday. God bless!

My vacation to Puerto Rico late in November of this year (not too long ago) was awesome! I got the opportunity to meet my dad, who I had not seen for over ten years. I also met my sister for the first time. She is the youngest of all my siblings.

I was a tourist to the island of my birth. I had a great time, saw many landmarks, visited family, and had a very peaceful thanksgiving with them. The only bad thing was that I caught a cold on the day of my arrival. For some reason I’m still trying to shake it off.
