Back from vacation, this week’s Cruz Personal Index closed at 72 points.

I’m pressing forward with a lot of learning, growth, and opportunity ahead. This week’s CPí closed at 68 points.

The Cruz Personal Index is back for 2008 with a fine, record-breaking close of 76 points.

This week the Cruz Personal Index closed at 64 points. Despite the setbacks I encountered in my life over the past days, God has helped me through and it reflects on the fact that this week the index is only 4 points below October 5th’s record breaking 68-point close. Now, enjoy the chart’s new, bolder look!

This week the Cruz Personal Index closed at 68 points. It has been an exciting week, though I was not able to post many entries on the blog.

The Cruz Personal Index (abbreviated CPí) was created to help me perform a self-assessment of the whole person by examining each individual area. I was inspired to create the assessment in a manner similar to financial market indexes.
The Cruz Personal Index will be updated on a weekly basis (on Fridays or whenever possible) and is not supposed to be complex like other indexes. So here’s my shot at creating a new “index.”
It should be fun to watch how the numbers change and to watch each week as I try to stay above the average line.
Each area is rated from best to worst performance, a 5 being the best. The sum of all the areas is then multiplied by 2, resulting in the total points for that week.
UDPATE: The index was revamped for the week of 9/21/07. The index will now publish a higher resolution PDF file instead of an XHTML file. In addition the Average Line was replaced with a 90-day Average to make things easier and similar to the measurement used by real indexes.
